Join  Our Emancipation Day Celebration On  January 1,  2013
As We Celebrate 150 Years of Freedom in America

Theme: "Keeping The Faith
By Acknowledging Our Past,
Present and Future"

We will celebrate our ancestors, struggles, accomplishments and ourselves!

You are invited to celebrate with us:

Tuesday,  January 1, 2013

2:00 - 4:00pm

Famous Brown’s Restaurant
(Formerly the Shoney’s in Fairfield Commons Mall)
Richmond, Virginia

We acknowledge that this is the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation, which served as the catalyst that ultimately led to the creation of the 13th Amendment to the Constitution which freed slaves in all of the United States.
